DANIO-ReCODE Kick-Off Meeting
DANIO-ReCODE MSCA DN Kick-Off Meeting took in place on February 17th-18th March, 2025 in Tübingen, Germany.
It was a great opportunity to discuss the key points associated with the project.
Day 1: Opening and Project Overview
The meeting started with a welcome speech by the Scientific Coordinator, Dr. Ozren Bogdanovic who delivered an introductory presentation that outlined the project’s objectives, governance structure, and the roles of Consortium members. Each project supervisor participating in the Consortium also provided a brief personal introduction. In addition, the scientific concept was discussed, ensuring all participants shared a common understanding of the project’s vision and goals.
Day 2: Training and Planning
The second day began with a Principal Investigator (PI) recruitment training session, equipping participants with essential skills and knowledge for the upcoming recruitment phase. This was followed by a roundtable discussion focused on organizing training courses and secondment opportunities for Doctoral Candidates (DCs). The day concluded with a final discussion led by Dr. Bogdanovic, summarizing key decisions and outlining next steps.
Project supervisors are enthusiastic about the next phase and look forward to welcoming all Doctoral Candidates on board by October 2025.
